Youth BBQing for Nepali Brothers
Last Saturday a few of the youth were called on a mission to cook for our fellow Nepali brothers in Christ at the Baptist Seminary in Batu Feringghi. Overall we had a great time there. Here are the pictures.

Wide Game - June - S.W.A.T II
Lo and behold, we arrived to be put on duty to fold "bullets". *gulp*
Before the game, we had a short time of worship, led by HBC.
After worship, Pastor Amos gathered everyone to line up in 2 straight lines, from the shortest to the tallest...
... and explained the game. It was basically a paintball-esque kind of game, except, it involves rubberbands and folded-up paper bullets. (Basically, if you get hit by a paper bullet, you are "dead".) We were divided into 4 groups and were given a short period of time to fold up more bullets before we went upstairs.
Once upstairs, we found ourselves in a battlefield, of some sort, made out of tables and chairs and even a carrom board.
We played a few rounds against different teams, each with different objectives - Round 1: The team with the most players left standing; Round 2: The team with the least amount of casualties; Round 3: The team who had the most "kills". Finale: The two teams with the best scores fight it out to see who is the best overall team.
Team 1 emerged as the winners of the game after surviving through the many different rounds with all the other teams. Woohoo! After that, we went downstairs and played a free-for-all shootout with our own made bunkers. This time, we had "unlimited" lives, except, once shot, we have to return to our base before we can proceed to shoot again. (I don't think many people followed that rule!)
The last two games had one simple objective: Be the one sitting on the chair in the middle of the room at the end of the game and your team wins. Too bad there weren't any pictures to document it. There was a LOT of pain involved in the last game. A lot of pain...

Wide Game - May - Gold Rush
Last month, May, we joined HBC for Wide Game again. This time it's called Gold Rush. The idea was taken from the recent movie Indiana Jones. I haven't watched the show yet so i cant tell y'all how it's connected to the game but I'll try to describe it as best as i can remember.
Everyone was split into 4 teams. Each team have their own base at the four corners of the field. There was the Blue Team, Black Team, Yellow Team and White Team. A team consists of a General and his cronies(captains, soldiers and more cannon fodder). That being said ... the generals were :
Blue Team - Yin Hooi
Black Team - Daniel Goh
Yellow Team - Ted
White Team - James Ho
Yay. All the generals from each team were appointed from FPBC. Whether it'd be for the better or worse ... only time will tell.
The game was rather simple :
1) See someone from another team. Start shooting.
2) Loot as much gold as possible. Kill+Steal if you must.
3) Take over your rival's base. Loot their coffers !!! Arrrrrr ~ !!!
4) Try not to die :P
Those are the few things to keep in mind throughout the game. With more money you can buy more powerful weapons of MASS DESTRUCTION when they are made available in each new rounds.
Each team started out with a bucket of water, several water guns and a cup. Since it involved water, everyone was eager to get the game started.
Once the game begun, everyone began to mine gold from the gold mine till the mine was depleted. That's where the fun began. Some people were caught on camera as they showed their true colours.
